Background
This is a website dedicated to the archival of Ten Years After tour dates from the beginning in June 1967 until June 1974 when Alvin Lee initially set out on his own and then the “Farewell Tour” in North America July – September 1975. Over time we hope this archival collection will include setlists, photos, ticket stubs, posters, performance reviews and of course details of each concert date, including location, venue, headlining/support acts, number of shows, cancellations, etc. We will only achieve this with your help. So that is why we have included links to the Ten Years After Tour Archive as it exists today.
Tour Archive
The shows included in this tour archive have been independently confirmed by The Tour Archive. None of these shows were taken directly from either the Alvin Lee online "Gigography" Alvin Lee.com or from the book "Alvin Lee & Ten Years After: Visual History" by the late Herb Staehr. These tour archives are meant to supplement the great work done by Herb in his book as well as his contributions to the Alvin Lee website gigography, as well as the efforts of Thomas Schmid to carry on what Herb started.
We are also in the process of gathering some dates from newspaper & magazine articles from Dave & Brigitte’s wonderful website The History of Ten Years After “The Classic Years” http://www.alvinlee.de/
In Search Of
Our goal is to assemble the most accurate, comprehensive tour archive for Ten Years After from the beginning in 1967 to June 1974. Ultimately we hope to confirm all dates with newspaper ads, performance reviews, ticket stubs and posters. If you have any information on any Ten Years After concert during this time period please let us know. Send us an email of your information, or scan or send a copy of a newspaper ad, performance review, ticket stub or poster. If any of the information in the tour archive is incomplete or inaccurate please email us with the corrections.
You must provide us some independent confirmation to assure us that the source is not Herb Staehr's book or the Alvin Lee.com website gigography.
